All monthly memberships require a valid payment method on file to ensure continuous, uninterrupted access to membership benefits. Because this is a subscription-based plan, monthly payments will be automatically processed.
Payment Grace Period: In the event a scheduled monthly payment is declined or fails to process, a ten (10) day grace period will be granted to allow the member to update their payment information. Members will be notified of the failed payment and provided instructions on how to update their payment details.
Membership Continuance Option: If payment is not received within the 10-day grace period, the monthly membership will be temporarily suspended. Members will be offered the option to reinstate their membership for the remainder of the annual term by paying the outstanding balance. This balance will be calculated as the difference between the total annual membership fee and the sum of all monthly payments already received.
Reinstatement Restrictions: Should the member choose not to pay the outstanding balance and reinstate their membership for the remainder of the annual term, they will be ineligible to re-subscribe to the monthly payment plan until the beginning of the next calendar year. They may, however, opt to purchase a full annual membership at any time.
Important Considerations:
- It is the member's responsibility to ensure their payment information is accurate and up to date.
- The grace period applies only to failed or declined payments, not to requests for cancellation.
- Membership benefits will be suspended during the period of non-payment.
- This policy is subject to change at the discretion of the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce. Members will be notified of any policy updates.
